Cambry is the head coach of Technique and has vaulted since 1995.Cambry began with Redwing Vaulting Club in Washington, where she earned her trot and bronze canter medals. There Cambry was part of a national championship 2-phase team and a national championship C team.
After moving to California, Cambry vaulted with Tambourine Vaulters and earned her silver medal, and was a part of a second place A team. In 2005 Cambry sustained a spinal cord injury and returned to vaulting as a coach. In 2007, she took 9 vaulters to the national championships. Her vaulters brought back many awards, among them, national trot woman’s champion and the B team national championship. Cambry loves everything about coaching. She loves teaching the smallest vaulters right along with the upper levels. She loves the horses, the traveling, and making friends across the nation. What she loves most are those magical moments between horse and vaulter when the horse gives everything it has and the vaulter achieves something they have never achieved before. Cambry’s workshops will be working with trot and copper vaulters. One session will work on improving freestyle arm movements. Her second workshop, beneficial for coaches as well, shows techniques to break down the compulsories, from floor exercises to the barrel.
